Dear Creative Professionals,
The beginning of a new year is when we make resolutions come to life. For us at Retouch4me, that means one thing: listening to you and building tools that give you more time behind the camera and less time behind the screen.
I’ve been reading your messages from 2025 — the Reddit threads, direct emails, support tickets, conversations at events. Some bold and direct, some detailed and thoughtful. All incredibly valuable. This feedback is what drives everything we create, and I want 2026 to be the year we hear from you even more.
We Need Your Voice
As we plan our development roadmap for this year and beyond, I want to understand what actually matters in your workflow right now. What’s been slowing you down lately? What tools would you love to use in your workflow?
We’re sending out a short questionnaire to our community — just three or four questions about your post-production challenges. It’s brief because your time is valuable. You can respond anonymously, and there’s space for anything else on your mind. Your answers will directly shape what we build next.
This questionnaire is how we continue that conversation. And you can participate in it.
What’s Coming This Year
Let me share some of what we’re working on now based on your requests:
Let’s start with an AI plugin for hair retouching. You’ve been telling us that hair retouching is one of the most time-consuming editing jobs you do. Now we’re preparing to release a tool that handles flyaways, stray hairs, and texture preservation with the same natural results Retouch4me is known for.
Next, Arams evolution. Our all-in-one photo editor just received color correction alongside its culling and editing features. We’re building an app you can use to process your entire shoot from start to finish: cull, edit, color-correct, export. This is our vision for Arams.
Of course, plugin updates. We’re updating our existing plugins, improving interfaces — for you to navigate them as efficiently as possible, and the results — to keep them as natural as you expect them to be.
How We Approach Building Tools
I started Retouch4me because I was frustrated spending more time editing than shooting. The repetitive retouching was draining the joy out of photography.
That frustration became our mission: remove the repetitive manual work without taking away what makes you irreplaceable — your style, your vision, your creative choices.
Your Data Stays Yours
Since we’re talking about how we build: your images are never used to train our models. When you process photos through Retouch4me, we deliver your results. That’s it. Your work stays yours.
We train our AI models from scratch using datasets we create specifically for retouching or purchase from photographers with their permission. We get model consents, hire professional retouchers to retouch by hand, then build neural networks that replicate that process. It’s time-consuming and expensive, but it gives us complete control over quality — and protects your privacy.
What Drives Us Forward
The photographers who use our tools helped make this company possible. Your trust, your feedback, your late-night messages telling us what’s working and what’s not — that’s what keeps us building. If you’re already part of our community, thank you. Keep the feedback coming. We’re all ears.
